30 Faces/30 Days is a annual challenge run by Sktchy. There is a small fee.
The idea is that on each day in January a different participants can download a reference photograph of a different model and watch a video of a different artist drawing and discussing their process and technique.
I was interested in participating because during the pandemic I’d started experimenting with drawing portraits and wanted to accelerate learning skills in this area. I found achieving a likeness a particular challenge.
What happened
